Raven Industries continues to expand capabilities with the recent addition of cast extrusion. This advancement will further increase our manufacturing capabilities in line with our three recently added state-of-the-art blown film and sheeting lines including 7-layer co-extrusion. Our 300,000 square foot South Dakota facility produces one of the widest ranges of size, material and thickness in the industry.
Our new cast extrusion line is capable of coating a broad range of substrates and casting smooth or embossed film and sheeting ranging in thickness from 1 mil to 80 mil. Cast extrusion can provide a precise gauge film and sheet up to 110 inches wide ideal for further processing in reinforced and non-reinforced lamination and many other OEM applications.
One to twenty mil barrier film and sheeting are blown on one of the largest 7-layer film and sheeting lines in North America in widths up to 126 inches wide and roll diameters up to 40 inches. Other multi-layer films are produced on lines capable of up to 40 foot widths and a thickness ranging from 0.25 mil up to 40 mil.
Our experience in designing film and sheeting has enabled us to offer a variety of products each formulated to meet our customer's individual film requirements in addition to our standard product line. We accomplish this through the guidelines of our certified ISO 9001:2008 management program.
